To sensitize governments, legislatures, international development partners, the organized private sector and the general public
of the huge potentials offered by Diaspora for national development.

To acknowledge the many efforts of Nigerians in Diaspora in contributing to national development by showcasing them to encourage more of such actions.

To chart a workable action plan for more effective mobilization and integration of Diaspora resources and skills/expertise to development processes in a measurable and sustainable manner.

To create a platform for resolution of legislative issues on Diaspora to pave way for more effective partnership between the Diaspora and the key stakeholders in Nigeria.
